NSW: Explosion rips through panel beating shop
SYDNEY, Aug 14 AAP - An explosion has ripped through a panel beating shop in Sydney'swest, the NSW Fire Brigade said today.
Spokesman Ian Krimmer said an oil tank had ruptured and fire crews were in the processof cleaning up the oil spill at a premises in Seville Street, Fairfield East.
Five crews were called to the scene shortly after midday (AEST) after reports of anexplosion and fire.
Mr Krimmer said the incident was now under control and a mop-up operation was under way.
There were no reports of injuries but a number of cars had been damaged, he said.
