Two Victorian grandmothers have chained themselves to state government offices to protest
against the logging of bushland identified as the natural habitat of the endangered Powerful
Owl.

LORIE VICTORSEN says she and MARG THORPE of Trentham, 100km northwest of Melbourne,
are prepared to go to jail to bring attention to the bird's plight.
